The SOC Project for children and young people were pleased to be invited to support the NPT Flying Start Fun Day at Ysgol Bae Baglan. A huge thank you to the team for such a well organised day, with a warm welcome for us, and all the families and children who came to visit.
There was a fantastic turn out from many services across the county, making it a wonderful opportunity to meet with the family support network. Every stall at the event had an activity for children to take part in, which made it a really enjoyable as well as informative day. We had great fun, making emotion masks and a feelings tree from hand prints.
It was great to meet so many local people and families and chat about our different projects and groups available for 11 to 18’s and how to access them. Families stayed and enjoyed the entire day – as did we.
We look forward to similar events being held in the future and once again being part of the network.
