Counselling

Counselling
Counselling, a safe space for you to explore your difficult feelings and experiences.
Counselling can help you to deal with specific problems or patterns, cope with difficult situations, improve your relationships or develop better ways of living in general.
The purpose of counselling is not to give advice, but to help you understand your feelings and behaviour better and to explore different perspectives and ways of coping.
You should expect your counsellor to be empathic, non-judgmental and to provide an environment that is highly confidential. We only break confidentiality where there is a serious risk of harm to you or others.
Sessions usually take place once a week and by making this regular commitment it gives you a better chance of building a helpful relationship with your counsellor, where you feel safe to make changes in your life.
