Neath Port Talbot Mind in Partnership with Neath Port Talbot Stroke Group are thrilled to announce that we have been successful in our application for funding from The National Lottery Community Fund to continue and expand upon the work we have done over the last 3 years to support stroke survivors and their loved ones via our first of its kind project NPT WASP (Wellbeing After Stroke Project).
Across the lifespan of NPT WASP, 1544 individuals benefitted from a tailored mental health service, specific to every individuals needs.
The National Lottery Community Fund will provide £499,528.00 over the next 3 years, which has allowed us as a Partnership to further develop our work together, expanding its reach across our community.
With this investment from The National Lottery Community Fund, we have Re-branded our project to reflect the wider beneficiary group we will support, and are excited to share that NPT WASBI (Wellbeing After Stroke and Brain Injury) will commence on 1st December 2026.
